Book Your Next Appointment Right After Your Cleaning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of us hardly ever think about routine dental appointments in our daily lives. Can you remember the date of your last checkup? Probably not. Six months can fly by and before you know it, you\u2019re overdue for your next exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rather than stressing yourself out trying to remember to schedule your next appointment, go ahead and book it as soon as your last one is over. Even if you end up needing to reschedule, it\u2019s good to have something on the dental team\u2019s calendar that they can remind you about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Give Yourself Plenty of Reminders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A lot can happen in six months. The checkup can still sneak up on you even if you record the date in your calendar. When you first mark down the date of your exam, set another reminder two or three weeks before then. This should help you schedule your work and personal life around the appointment and give you time to reschedule if need be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Select a Time of Year and Stick to It<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Making dental checkups part of your annual routine will eventually help you remember that it\u2019s time for your cleaning even if you forget to set reminders on your calendar. For example, the beginning of a new year and the start of summer break are both transitional times that can remind you that it\u2019s time to see your dentist.
